At Grace Place, our work has grown, our vision has expanded, and we have AMPLIFIED the impact we are creating in our community.
Grace Place AMPLIFIED is an exciting new chapter with the development of a purpose-built residential campus in Hendersonville, TN. This thoughtfully designed “pocket neighborhood” deepens our impact and allows more families to experience healing, dignity, and belonging.
Walkable paths, shared spaces, and intentional design will foster connection, safety, and growth for both mothers and children. This campus is not simply an expansion, it is a reimagining of how community can support lasting change.
Campus Vision & Project Highlights
- Location: 4.5 acres on New Shackle Island Road in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
- Residential Community: 43 cottage-style homes, supportive, and family-centered.
- Education & Support: A 4,500-square-foot education and office facility.
- Community Spaces: Sport courts, playgrounds, sidewalks, green spaces, and gathering areas.
Project Leadership:
Led by Founder and CEO Desnéige Bourret, Board Chairman Keith Head, and Project Manager Cal Gentry of Civil Land Company, General Contractor Batten Shaw Construction and Architect Kristopher Nonn.
Every element of this campus has been designed with intention, creating a place where families can rebuild with dignity and move confidently toward independence.
Laying the Foundation
Groundbreaking on April of 2025, marked the start of Phase I, setting the stage for this transformative model of care.
Phase I includes:
- Construction of the new education center
- Development of 10 to 13 three-bedroom homes
- An estimated timeline of 12 to 18 months

Since July 2015, Grace Place has provided an intensive residential program that offers more than shelter. Through free housing, life-skills education, and holistic support, single mothers with children are given the space and tools they need to move from crisis to long-term independence. Here, stability is not temporary. It is the foundation for a transformed future, and Grace Place AMPLIFIED takes our work to the next level.
The pace at which this campus becomes a reality is directly tied to the generosity of our community. Every contribution accelerates the journey for single mothers and children working toward lives defined by character, courage, strength, and perseverance.
